The Eagles dropped only 11 games in a 5-0 victory over Jay County in the opening round of the Marion Regional on Tuesday evening. A season-long daily quest for improvement paid off Monday night as the boys’ tennis team edged 30th-ranked Mt. Vernon 3-2 on the road to win the Hoosier Heritage Conference championship.
