The Eagles finished in second place in the four-team Peru JV Invitational, falling just short of winning the championship.
The Delta team started the day with a 2-3 loss to Culver Academies, then beat the Peru/Delta combined team 4-1 and finished with a 5-0 shutout of Huntington North.
No. 3 singles player James Root, a junior, was a perfect 3-0 on the day.
Sophomore Jacob Williams also went 3-0, including two victories at No. 2 doubles.
Sophomore Ayden Mitchell went 2-0 at No. 2 singles for the Peru/Delta squad
