Delta cruised to a 5-0 victory over Shelbyville in a conference match Saturday morning.

The 24th-ranked Eagles (2-0) dropped only eight games in the five varsity matches.  Landon Freiburger and Mason Wrisley won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.

Delta won the JV match 5-0 and did not drop a single game.  Winners were Caleb Hewitt, Isaac Anderson, Simon Marlow/Eli Stephenson, Kody Vest/Owen Cupp, and Kam Swoboda/Will Kile.

Delta extended its Hoosier Heritage Conference varsity victory streak to 50 straight matches in boys’ and girls’ tennis.

After the morning match, the Eagles headed north 2.5 hours for an afternoon match vs. Culver Academies.
