The boys tennis team gained their fourth straight victory, this time by a 5-0 sweep over Madison County champ Lapel.

The singles players were dominant as Dalton Royal, Owen Vest and Kody Vest wrapped up victories quickly. Isaac Anderson/Preston Shanayda won at No. 2 doubles to extend the lead to 4-0. Colin McCrady / Riley Bratton then pulled out a 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles over a team that included Lapel standout Jacob Erwin to finish the shutout.

The JV squads battled to a 6-6 tie.

Next up for Delta (6-6) will be the Kokomo Invite on Saturday with matches against Peru, Kokomo and West Lafayette. The varsity action will be at Kokomo High School while the JV will play at Foster Park.
