The 11th-ranked Delta Eagles girls’ tennis team swept conference rival New Palestine 5-0 on Thursday evening to remain unbeaten for the season. Now winners of five straight matches, Delta gave up only 12 games to the Dragons in the five varsity positions.
Ellie Snider led the way with a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 1 singles.
The Eagles also won the JV match by a narrow 8-7 score. Senior Camille Lykins came through with the big win in a tiebreaker at No. 4 singles.
The girls play at New Castle on Friday.
