For the first time since 2017, the Eagles won the Kokomo Invitational over the weekend.
The day began with a 4-1 victory over Peru. In the second round, the Eagles dropped a 3-2 decision to Kokomo. And in the final round, the Eagles won 4-1 over West Lafayette.
With Delta, Peru and Kokomo all winning two of three team matches, it came down to counting individual wins to determine the team trophy winner. Delta gained 10 wins, Peru 9 and Kokomo 8.
Junior Kody Vest went 3-0 at No. 2 singles. Seniors Dalton Royal and Preston Shanayda also went 3-0 at No. 1 doubles. Senior Jake Bilby was 2-0 at No. 3 singles.
