The rainy weekend couldn’t keep the Delta boys’ tennis team off the courts on Saturday. The Kokomo Invitational was moved inside to the Howard County Indoor Tennis Center in Greentown.

In the opening round, the 14th-ranked Eagles shut out Lebanon 5-0. In the championship match, the Eagles lost 3-2 to 20th-ranked West Lafayette.

The third round of the varsity tournament and the entire JV tournament were not played due to the weather.

Delta now is 8-2 heading into Tuesday’s home match against Yorktown.
