The Eagles’ varsity opened the Delta Invitational with a 5-0 shutout victory over Lake Central on Saturday, Sept. 22.

Lake Central is the eighth-largest school in Indiana with more than 3,200 students.  It is located just south of Chicago in Lake County.

Lake Central, ranked seventh in northern Indiana’s District 1, entered with a 9-6 record.  Delta dropped only 11 games total in the match.
