Delta fell 4-1 to 14th-ranked Westfield in the second round of the Eagle Round Robin.

Westfield entered with victories over 12th-ranked Brownsburg and 9th-ranked Avon and added a win over 7th-ranked Hamilton Southeastern to jump into the Top 10 in the latest poll.

The highlight for Delta was at No. 1 doubles, where Janet Wegener and Maggie Hunt controlled the match for a 6-3, 6-2 victory.

The Eagles were competitive in sets at other positions but could not post any other victories.

Delta is 1-2 on the season.
