Even with resting nearly half of its regular varsity lineup, the Eagles swamped New Castle 5-0, winning 60 out of 66 games overall.

Freshman Elizabeth Bamidele played No. 3 singles and won 6-2, 6-0.  Seniors Emily Hayes and Rylen Jones teamed up at No. 2 doubles and won 6-1, 6-1.

Gabby Knight defeated Morley Blessinger 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 singles.

Brylee Beckley won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles, and Janet Wegener/Katie Manor won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles.

In JV action, the Eagles did not play many of their top reserves.  There were several close matches but New Castle won the JV match 5-1.

Delta (6-2) is ranked 19th and will host Muncie Burris on Wednesday at 4:30 and will host New Palestine in a key conference match at 5:15 p.m. Thursday.
