The JV team rolled to a 15-5 victory over Yorktown on a windy Monday evening at the Tiger courts.

Freshman Maddi Cox won twice in singles, both times by 8-0 shutout.  Freshman Avery Gray also was a two-time winner, 8-1 at No. 1 doubles with sophomore Addy Anderson and 6-2 in singles against the Tigers’ No. 1 player.

Junior Tru Swoboda won 8-3 at No. 1 singles.   Also winning in singles was Maddy Polito, who won 8-0 at No. 3 singles.

In doubles, additional winners were the teams of Mylee Jones/Maggie Ratts, Mackemzie Lipps/Ilicia Ritter, Avery Barnes/Sammi Raleigh, Chloe Oliver/Noelle Longsworth, Blaysha Downing/Karlie Obenski, Addisen Condie/Izzy Posey, Shayla Stine/Ryanne Evans-Bales, Kinley Meekin/Avery Ayres, and Emma Lyons/Selah Plummer.

Next up for Delta is a Hoosier Heritage Conference match at Mt. Vernon on Wednesday, followed by a home match against Alexandria on Thursday for Teacher Appreciation Day.
