The Eagles regrouped quickly on Friday evening in another road match, just 24 hours after a long, grueling match the night before.

Delta beat New Castle 4-1 one night after dropping a 3-2 decision to fifth-ranked Center Grove.

Freshman Sophie Crabtree beat New Castle junior Peyton Blessinger 6-4, 6-1 at the top position.

Peyton’s twin sister, Ashlynn Blessinger, turned the tables at No. 2 singles by defeated Olivia Marshall, 2-6, 6-3, 3-6.

The Eagles dominated the last three positions.

Stella Sieber won 6-0, 6-0.

Kate Manor and Alexa Bratton won 6-1, 6-2 over a solid New Castle No. 1 doubles team.

Rowan Hinds and Elizabeth Bamidele added a 6-1, 6-0 victory.

Delta won the JV match 6-0 and dropped only one game.

The Eagles moved to 14-2 overall and 6-0 in the Hoosier Heritage Conference.
