The 11th-ranked Eagles shut out Muncie Burris 5-0 at the varsity level and 9-0 at the JV level in a makeup match Friday evening at home.

Junior Gwendolyn Clark won in a 2-hour, 30-minute match at No. 1 singles over Paula Powers, an academy student from LaPorte.  The final score was 7-6 (3), 7-5.

Delta dropped only one game in the rest of the varsity match.

The Eagles (6-0 varsity and 3-2 JV) travel to the Crawfordsville Invitational for varsity on Saturday while the JV travels to the Plymouth Invitational.
