Tate Dishman graduated from Delta HS in 2011 after a career in which he made the All-State Doubles team as a senior and earned three varsity letters. He then played both singles and doubles on the men’s tennis team at the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne. He is a graduate of USF and works in sales for Ingersoll Rand in East Central Indiana.
Tate has head tennis coaching experience at New Haven High School near Fort Wayne.
The fall 2025 season was his ninth year as DHS Tennis assistant for the boys.
The spring 2026 season will be his seven year as DHS Tennis assistant for the girls.
His younger brother Tannon also has been an assistant coach after an All-State career in both singles and doubles at Delta and a collegiate career at St. Francis. Sisters Teaghan and Tynan were also All-State doubles players for the Eagles in girls’ tennis, with Tynan finishing as State Runner-Up in doubles with Maggie Manor. Youngest brother Tyce has played varsity doubles for three years and made All-State Doubles in Fall 2025. He will be a senior on the 2026 team.
