Fall 2017 — As a junior, Tannon was one of the state’s top doubles players. He teamed with fellow junior Joel Ashman at No. 1 doubles. They made the All-State Doubles First Team. He also was named All-Conference and All-District. Tannon occasionally played No. 2 singles, where he went 4-0. He was 24-3 overall and raised his career victory total to 56.
Fall 2016 — As a sophomore, Tannon finished 20-7 at No. 2 doubles
Fall 2015 — As a freshman, Tannon was 12-1 at No. 2 doubles varsity and 11-0 in JV matches.
Tannon’s older brother, Tate, was an All-State Doubles player and helped the Eagles to the 2010 State Finals. He is now an assistant coach for DHS Tennis. Tannon’s older sister, Teaghan, also was All-State Doubles and is one of the all-time victory leaders for DHS Girls Tennis. She competed in the individual State Doubles Finals. His younger sister, Tynan, finished with 20 wins as a freshman and helped the Eagles to the 2018 State Finals.
