Spring 2026 — As a senior, Kate is poised to make a big run at the career varsity victories record for Delta girls’ tennis. She is 15 victories away from the record of 86 held jointly by Hayley Hall and Kristin Crider. Kate will play with a new doubles partner this year as former partners Janet Wegener and Kelsey Vest each have graduated. Kate also is a standout volleyball player who surpassed 1,000 career assists in that sport.
Spring 2025 — As a junior, Kate again played No. 1 varsity doubles with Kelsey Vest. They were 22-4 together and earned All-Conference, All-District and All-State Doubles first team honors. Kate has 71 varsity victories in three seasons of tennis.
Spring 2024 — As a sophomore, Kate played No. 1 varsity doubles with Kelsey Vest. They were 25-4 together and earned All-Conference, All-District and All-State Doubles first team honors. Kate has 49 varsity victories in just two seasons of tennis.
Spring 2023 — Kate made a big debut as a freshman, playing No. 1 varsity doubles with Janet Wegener. They were 24-4 together and earned All-Conference, All-District and All-State Doubles honors. Kate helped the team reach the IHSAA State Finals with a dominating victory at No. 1 doubles over Homestead in the semi-state championship.
Her older sisters Lexie and Maggie each have been standout players for the Eagles. Maggie was State Doubles Runner-Up as a senior in Spring 2021.
