Fall 2017 — As a junior, Joel was one of the state’s top doubles players. He teamed with fellow junior Tannon Dishman to go 24-3 at No. 1 doubles and make the All-State Doubles First Team. He also was named All-Conference and All-District. Joel raised his career victory total to 38.
Fall 2016 — As a sophomore, Joel finished 14-11 at No. 1 doubles and 1-0 in JV matches. He received All-Conference, All-District and Honorable Mention All-State honors.
Fall 2015 — As a freshman, Joel compiled a 14-7 record in JV matches.
Joel is the brother of former DHS Girls Tennis standout Madison Ashman, who ranks among the top career victory leaders in DHS Girls Tennis history.
