Fall 2026 — As a sophomore, Jackson faces the challenge of taking the next steps of improvement while managing high expectations from last season’s success. He hopes to help the team compete at a top state level. Jackson participates in lessons, clinics, camps and tournaments throughout Indiana and beyond has been to Spain to the Rafael Nadal Tennis Academy.
Fall 2025 — As a freshman, Jackson used his skill and athleticism to play No. 1 singles, where he went 17-8 and earned All-State Singles Second Team. His victory in three sets over senior Parker Paramoure of Westfield was the decisive result in the Eagles’ 3-2 victory over the Shamrocks at regional.
His father, Bob Darby, was an All-State Singles player for Delta and earned 61 varsity victories from 1992 to 1995, then played briefly on the men’s tennis team at Purdue University. His mother, Stephanie Dunn Darby, played at Muncie Central and Taylor University.
