Delta Tennis will celebrate Senior Day on Wednesday, Sept. 19 with a home match against Pendleton Heights.
The Eagles’ four seniors — Tannon Dishman, Joel Ashman, Ben Bamidele and Ben Slavin — will be honored in a pre-match ceremony at 4:30 p.m.
All four players have been four-year members of the team.
Dishman, the No. 1 singles player this season, has 68 career varsity wins, which is 14th overall in DHS Tennis history. He is one away from tying recent graduate Alec Robillard, who plays at Ball State University.
Ashman, who plays No. 1 doubles, is 12-2 this season with sophomore Brandon Jackson. He has 50 career wins and was All-State Doubles First Team with Tannon Dishman last season.
Bamidele, the No. 2 singles player for the second straight season, is much-improved at 10-4 this year after going 14-12 last season.
Slavin plays junior varsity doubles with freshman Walker Boyle. They are 9-3 this season.
Come out and celebrate together with these seniors who have enjoyed tremendous careers with the tennis program!
